For the past five years, APROCCURMA has been brewing up something special with 124 incredible women producers in the stunning northern highlands of Rodríguez de Mendoza! These talented ladies are turning their own farms into coffee havens, and their passion for coffee is as rich as the beans they cultivate.
In a region where coffee is the lifeblood for many families, these women are making magic happen using organic farming methods. Picture this: lush plots intercropped with shade trees, bananas, corn, and beans, creating a vibrant ecosystem. The coffee journey is a labor of love, with every step—harvesting, sorting, depulping, fermenting, washing, and drying—carefully executed right on the farm with their very own micro-mills. No rush to get the cherries to a processing facility here; it’s all about quality over speed, with some farms even sharing these nifty micro-mills!
